IEOSA’S SYSTEM OF EDUCATION
The Organisation is responsible for the research and development of syllabi, course design, intensive Teacher Training programs, publishing of Teachers Manuals and learners text books. It further ensures the correct implementation of the above through a system of regular supervision and inspections. IEOSA further undertakes the entire function of setting, conducting bi-annual examinations and marking of scripts after which it provides comprehensive reports to parents and affiliate societies.
MONITORING & CO-ORDINATION OF MADAARIS
An important aspect of IEOSA's services is the provision of supervision / inspection of Madaaris. The Advisors "evaluate" and "assist" teachers in preparation and the presentation of the lessons. This means that the Advisors evaluate not only the teachers' performance but also their own research output (syllabi, texts and manuals) under working or classroom conditions - whether they are suitable or require adjustments. This then leads them to identify the problem area and focus their adjustments accordingly.
Thus the IEOSA's syllabi, texts and manuals are constantly reviewed - as adjustments are made in keeping with changing circumstances. If the best syllabus, texts or manuals are produced and teachers are trained on how to implement same, but fail to conform to the guidelines, this can result in educational disaster. Therefore, our Advisors visit the affiliate Madaaris to ensure that the guidelines are followed in terms of the methodology and educational psychology and monitor the progress of the learners. Madrasah education is provided for Primary as well as the Secondary level learners.
